Not able to use CA signed certificates

The module does not allow the user to manage the certificates.
For example if we want to use certificates signed by a CA (not self signed).

The certificates files under the cert directory are managed by the module.
It should be great to have a boolean that disable this to allows the user to manage the certificates files himself.
