Voice Changer Version

MMVCServerSIO_win_onnxgpu-cuda_v.1.5.3.18a.zip

Operational System

Windows 11

GPU

3080

Read carefully and check the options

  • I've tried to Clear Settings
  • Sample/Default Models are working
  • I've tried to change the Chunk Size
  • GUI was successfully launched
  • I've read the tutorial
  • I've tried to extract to another folder (or re-extract) the .zip file

Model Type

RVC

Issue Description

I am trying to use the voice changer in discord, and I am using the virtual audio cable. In the voice changer I am putting the output to "CABLE Input" and in discord I am putting it to "CABLE Output"

However, If I select my headphones as output the voice changer is indeed working fine. And same for monitor.
But not sending any audio to virtual cable. And I am sure the virtual audio cable is working because I used it for something else and that still works.

Install the free Virtual Audio Cable Lite (VAC) and don't use vb cable. Vb cable is known for not working properly. Make sure to also disable any kind of filtering and noise canceling on Discord because you won't need it. Let me know if it works.
If still doesn't work, post some screenshots with all the audio settings of Discord and again the RVC ones.

Will try this, thank you! Also would you recommend me to also uninstall vb cable driver?

Is not really necessary to uninstall it. But if you want to get rid of so many inputs and outputs, it's an easy way to accomplish that.

I installed the one you said, but every like 5 or 10 seconds it says "TRIAL"

I said to install the free lite version, not the trial of the paid version.

My bad, installed that now. Ok so now the issue seems to be with counter-strike, works fine on everything. Until I launch counter-strike 2, then the virtual cable breaks and no audio comes thru it....?

Have you made sure to select the right input in counter strike 2? Did you setup it also on Steam? Does monitor works while you are playing counter strike 2?

Sorry kinda forgot about this post. Anyhow I do have it selected in counter-strike 2 correctly, and If I put the monitor on for example on the voice changer itself I can hear the voice completely fine.

So the issue seems to be that it cannot send the audio to the virtual cable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't it seems really random.

Might be some setting or issue with my system. But I have been able to use this completely fine before and I just went back to using it. And now it's doing this.

If the issue is only in counter strike and the monitor outputs good results then it may be an issue within the game itself.

It's not sending anything to the virtual audio cable. (It wont work anywhere, discord or counter strike)

Check in windows audio settings that the VAC input and output aren't muted and have 100% volume.

Could you share screenshots of your settings in RVC and Discord?

@Baldhead45 it's not necessary. Even though vb cable is known for having glitchy audio in some applications like Discord, it may work fine for you for other stuff. I definitely wouldn't use it with RVC but it could be handy if you need a virtual cable for whatever other purpose. If you are not going to use and you don't want to have so many inputs and outputs in Windows, you can just safely uninstall it and get your PC more clean of stuff that you won't need.
