Welcome to the Tanzu Developer Center wiki!
The Tanzu Developer Center has two primary methods for contributing content. The GitHub Method is the primary path and available to anyone who wants to contribute. The Google Docs method is available for those who may not be as familiar with markdown or GitHub and how to make contributions to open source. Finally, the Content Review Process used by the Tanzu Developer Center Team is provided.
The preferred method for contributing content to the Tanzu Developer Center is via GitHub by opening a pull request. The following is a comprehensive guide for submitting content, from ideation to committing to promotion. A checklist is also provided to ensure all author steps have been completed.
While the GitHub Method is preferred, we understand that not every contributor is comfortable with this method. While the Tanzu Developer Center team is always available to walk new contributors through this process, we also offer this method so contributors can simply use WYSIWYG editors to create and submit content. Care will be taken by the Tanzu Developer Center team to ensure openness and transparency during this process.
In the spirit of openness, the following is the review process which the Tanzu Developer Center uses once content has been submitted through either submission process.
