Manipulating spreadsheet data

I want to use the spreadsheet plot , and extract data from it to an external file. How to accomplish that using scripting ?

@SakshamPande ... here is what I wound up doing (as an example)...

1. Open VisIt test dataset rect2d.silo
2. Put up SpreadSheet plot of variable d
   • Note: on my macOS system, I get what appears to be a blank spreadsheet. But, as I expand each column individually with the mouse, I see the data in the cells.
3. Go to upper left corner cell of spreadsheet widget and click there....that will select the whole spreadsheet
4. Go to upper left corner of spreadsheet widget and select Save as text... and save the data to a file.

Oh, wait, you wanted a scriptable solution. Just a moment...

I am not seeing a way to use these Spreadsheet plot features via scripting.

That said, there are other ways of getting a 2D array of data from VisIt. Best option is probably to set up a pseudocolor plot as you wish it to be and then use Export Database and export to either Blueprint and select Flatten_CSV as an output option or XYZ.
