Installer not working [no post] #76

I'm on the SFF with nvidia chip (modified config according to instructions for dGPU). After installing for the first time (after formatting in disk utility), it reboots automatically and goes back to the grub menu to install to internal ssd. Shows Apple logo and the bar doesn't even go to 1/4 way and it jumps back into recovery mode. Will not install to internal as stated. Am I doing something wrong?
