Windows 11 Pro
Build 22631.4460
Version 23H2
I've been using ExplorerPatcher for awhile now and now overnight, it is refusing to work. I've added it to exceptions on my antivirus but it keeps getting deleted whenever I try to run it. I've not updated anything since my current build came out (except for Antivirus for obvious reasons). It has been added to my allowed programs on Windows Defender (which shouldn't even be running) and to BitDefender (folder, executables, etc).
Every time I run the exe, my screen does the 'reloading explorer.exe' gray screen but sometimes when I run it, I get an error with a few tips to fix it, but despite trying all the tips, it refuses to actually run. I've uninstalled and reinstalled using ep_setup but it just gives me the same error even after restarting between sets etc. I've checked the folder containing the files (even with it added to my exceptions) and after trying to run EP, the exe's are getting deleted even when I turn off my AV and try running it.
I can't seem to find anyone else having this issue, and since it happened overnight while my computer was asleep, I'm scared to think Windows did a fucky again (windows 11 being the biggest recently) and pushed a shadow update which broke EP (or at least this iteration). Also, my antivirus doesn't show whether it flagged explorer patcher as a virus when it does for everything else, so I don't think its BitDefender doing it.
