Also - Thank you for the work you've already put into this tool. I love it so far and coworkers are already noticing... |

Good Afternoon,
I do UAS/Drone mapping and asked a friend for a recommendation on software to create simple 3D cut-out graphics and he pointed me towards Rayshader. I use GIS heavily, but I have very little programming experience (Python, JS, Arcade). I've been able to following the docs to create some cool 3D renders and videos -
So far, I've only been able to add features & labels to the models by rendering them out with the texture/orthophoto that I use in the model. I've tried working through the tutorials to add custom labels as well as OSM data, but haven't had any luck.
Can you please tell me if it's possible to import features directly, from something like a CSV file or a shapefile, assuming they're in the same datum as the terrain and texture files? If not, and if this is a feature with broad appeal, can I make that a feature request?
I've added the Rayshader code I'm using, terrain and imagery geotiff files, and a few examples of the type of files (2x csv and 1x shapefile) to a google drive folder here, if you'd like to take a look - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14D3wW_vcKU9mW9c21pju8k3Ul132G2R1?usp=sharing
Thank you,
DW
