First of all I love rayshader and will never thank you and all contributors enough for such a cool package.
I am plotting a gps track on a 3d map.
I realised that rendering a snapshot ( not on high quality) it tooks my pc 0,2 seconds per screenshot.
As soon as I add render_points the calculation time increases to 1,3 seconds per screenshot on average.
The interesting thing is that it looks like this time is independent from the number of points: plotting 1700 points takes as much time as 170.
I tried also render_path but also that leads to the same time.
I am creating many screenshots to create a video so also a small time reduction makes on the total time a relevant difference.
Is there any trick that I can use to speed up the process?
