Indicator object icon selectable #702
Comments
The reasoning behind the two colors on the icon is that the line on which the 2 colors touch is the actual direction. Having just a circle is quite a rough estimate of direction. If I understand correctly you'd want to have the dark side of the moon always facing outward of the compass? |
I was hoping the option to use icons/ pictures. In this case use the standard (mdi:) moon icons. In this case it would then change with moon phases if I could use attribute-icon from the moon sensor integration. But it maybe just would not look good…. |
Oh wow, that's a bigger feature than anticipated. |
I wonder if it'd be possible to rotate the circle/arrow direction. For example even without the moon phase icon as the indicator having the "dark side" of the moon facing the correct way |
Please consider to make the indictor object selectable using an icon or the sensors icon attribute.
This way the indicator can change with the sensors state like the suns or the moons state. And some parameter saying to hold the icon level or not, so the icon is not standing on its head when going around the compass.
