Ther is no current way to delete or edit log posts via Pycaching. Is it possible this could be added? If not how could it be implemented if I wanted to implement it?

While there probably is some way to do this, unless you want to start working on this, chances tend to be rather low of this getting added. Please keep in mind that Geocaching.com does not provide a publicly available API, thus complicating stuff a lot and requiring appropriate analysis of how the front-end is doing this and basically re-implementing this.
