Timeplus Proton 1.5.10

We are excited to announce the release of Timeplus Proton 1.5.10! This update, along with the 1.5.9 release from late May, brings several significant enhancements:

• Querying Existing Kafka Messages: You can now run the table function on Kafka External Streams, enabling you to read all existing data in a Kafka topic. For example, use select * from table(topic) where condition=true. To get the number of messages in a Kafka topic, simply run select count() from table(topic).
• Avro-Encoded Messages: Previously, you needed to enable Schema Registry to read Avro-encoded messages. With 1.5.10, you can use SQL to define the Avro schema and read these messages. For more details, visit our documentation.
• Improved Proton Client: No more -h 127.0.0.1 when launching the proton-client. The new version listens on both IPv4 and IPv6 ports.
• New SQL Functions: We've added parse_datetime and parse_datetime_in_joda_syntax.
• Other Enhancements: Numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements have been made to improve your experience.
