Environment

  • OS/Distribution: KDE Neon 5.19.5
  • Desktop Environment: KDE, X11
  • Hardware: i7 4790K, Intel HD 4400
  • Exact Version or Commit Hash and Installation Method: Chiaki-v1.2.1-Linux-x86_64.AppImage

Describe the bug
After entering Login PIN, keyboard is unusable outside Chiaki. Upon reconnection, keyboard works.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have your PSN account with PIN
  2. Enter PIN
  3. Try to use the keyboard outside the app, no workie.
  4. Disconnect.
  5. Connect to PS4 again
  6. Keyboard works

Expected behavior
Steps 5 & 6 is the expected behavior, regardless if you have Login PIN or not.

Having a similar issue. Not only does the keyboard not work system-wide anymore. Also mouse input is severely limited: I cannot move windows, nor click "into" other applications. Only the focus seems to work, and if I somehow got Chiaki into the background behind other windows I have to minimize the front window (this works) to access Chiaki again. Alt-tab’ing, all the Gnome 3 window overview features – all that does not work. I almost had to restart the system to figure out how to gain back control.

As @darkguy2008 says, after closing + reconnecting suddenly it works.
