The video quality is very inconsistent, and seems to be taking up all my network's bandwidth. Sometimes the video will look okay, but after a while the stream will break up and skip frames. Eventually, it'll become unwatchable and even the smallest move will cause the stream to be unwatchable.
Both the PS4 and the laptop are connected physically to 1000BASE-T capable router. My wife complains that when I'm playing the PS4 over Chiaki, she can't do anything on the net - even shopping. After a maximum of 30 minutes (if not immediately) I'll have to give up anyway, because the stream will become unplayable. I stream stuff from a computer running Steam on Windows to my laptop running Fedora quite often and have never had an issue like this on that end.
Thanks very much for any help.
