Is it possible to set a proxy for Bandcamp Desktop?

When I'm on my work's network the Bandcamp site works fine on a browser through the company's proxy, but since Bandcamp Desktop tries to connect to the internet without a proxy it thinks that I'm offline and shows the offline welcome message.

Hi, unfortunately Bandcamp Desktop does not have that feature at the moment.
Maybe you can do something at your operating system level.
