pnpm tauri add *any plugin* doesnt work properly

From docs I copied this command:

pnpm tauri add dialog

But on execution I am getting error:

 Info Installing NPM dependency "tauri-apps/plugin-fs@~2"...
 ERR_PNPM_SPEC_NOT_SUPPORTED_BY_ANY_RESOLVER  tauri-apps/plugin-fs@~2 isn't supported by any available resolver.

This error happened while installing a direct dependency of C:\Users\zagra\Code\MobileTauriPNPM
Failed to install NPM dependency
    Error Failed to install NPM dependency
 ELIFECYCLE  Command failed with exit code 1.

I want to note that I am getting this error with other plugins and also when I am trying to download plugins into deno tauri project

Hmm, that's so weird, i (and others i guess) use the exact same version without any issues 🤔 (talking about pnpm, i don't use deno)

Also, for context I created this project today, 11th of January

Just to double check, can you try another one? Doing nothing but running pnpm install and pnpm tauri add fs to check if some other dependency cause issues.

If that also has the same issue then it sounds like something is up with the pnpm install 🤔

The issue I described happened as I created project, without adding any dependencies.
If not counting that I set up project with typescript and svelte.

i think i found the issue (still weird that it failed silently on my machine). Can you try this please?

cargo install tauri-cli --debug --git https://github.com/tauri-apps/tauri --branch fix/add-package-name
cargo tauri add fs

Branch doesn't exist anymore because another user confirmed it fixed it. I'll release the fix as soon as our CI lets me do it.

It looks like I still have this issue. How can I update to the fix? I dont even know what needs to be updated.

Update the @tauri-apps/cli package to 2.2.5 in package.json and re-run npm install.
