form tag wrapped in pre tags is modified

If a form tag is wrapped in pre tags as a means to demonstrate or show off some code, it is automatically modified by the Rack handler. Since forms wrapped in pre tags cannot be submitted this behavior feels wrong. It also makes it very difficult to show code dealing with forms on a site.
