Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up the project locally:

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v20.9.0 >=)
  • npm (v10.2.3 >=)
  • git

Steps

  1. Clone the repository locally:

    git clone https://github.com/sumanth-botlagunta/stack_overflow_next13

cd stack_overflow_next13

  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install

  3. Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add the following environment variables:

    NEXT_CLERK_WEEBHOOK_SECRET=<from your clerk nextjs setup>
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=<from your clerk nextjs setup>
CLERK_SECRET_KEY=<from your clerk nextjs setup>

NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_IN_URL=/sign-in
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_UP_URL=/sign-up
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_AFTER_SIGN_IN_URL=/

  4. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
