The num=100 parameter doesn't appear to work on results pages that contain WebAnswers.
It's unclear if the parameter is disabled for those pages (since manually including it doesn't seem to work), or if something else is preventing it working (e.g. perhaps a conflicting parameter).
I don't think disabling WebAnswers is a good approach. But if there's a way to ensure 100 results on results pages containing WebAnswers, that should be attempted, ideally in a side-effect-free way.
