It would be great if could add support for the Firefox sync framework, so that form history is synchronized between devices.

I think I investigated this earlier and I believe the issue is that the amount of data to be synced is limited. And FHC can potentially accumulate huge amounts of data.
I will look into this again...

places.sqlite can grow several hundred megabytes and AFAIK it gets synced just fine.
