cc @anastasiyaig
Reproducing both on Mobile and Desktop. Actual result is slightly different, please see description below.

Steps:

  1. Login user who owns Status CC collectible and is a member of Status community
  2. See if private channels are visible and user can post messages inside them

Expected result: user can see private (token gated) channels and post messages in them

Actual result:

MOBILE: private channels are hidden

Mobile_log.zip

telegram-cloud-document-2-5246986435411600482.mp4

DESKTOP: private channels are visible but user cannot post messages in them

Desktop_master__geth.log.zip

Desktop.mp4

Additional Information

  • Status version: nightly

  • Operating System: Android, iOS

  • Status desktop version: 0.6.0-6728-g0445f131f

  • Operating System: MacOS

okay control node has crashed, so Iury restarted it. It will take some time to sync, but i see i got back the private channels and i also can post to them and see the messages bridged.

lets wait for a while when you get the updates from control node and re-visit the ticket again.

~20 hours passed since node has been restarted but nothing changed for me, the issue is still there on both Desktop and Mobile.

Yes. It is available. But maybe it is better not to leave/rejoin in order to investigate current issue? I think we need some cooperation with the one who has access to logs of the control node in order to check what is the status of my and Icaro's users and why private channels are not being synced for us.

@osmaczko will be able to check on that next week

It is not urgent for me to get an access to private channels, I am more concerned about issue itself, so I am okay to wait when @osmaczko will have a chance to look at it.

I'm observing the same problem, even worse, despite having the TMaster token

@iurimatias iurimatias removed this from the 2.34.0 Beta milestone Jan 30, 2025
