Hi,

Are there any plans for continuing development on this project or is it dead?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, this project is dead. When I last spoke with @sshuair, it sounded like they were now working on OpenMMLab instead. If you're looking for similar libraries, here are some suggestions:

  • TorchGeo: backed by Microsoft, pretty wide adoption and active development, second oldest library, only library with models pre-trained on multispectral imagery
  • torchrs: also dead, developer now helps maintain TorchGeo
  • PyTorch EO: unclear if development is still happening, only a couple contributors so far, few datasets available
  • GeoTorch: brand new, direct integration with Apache Sedona, only a couple contributors so far, no CI, no PyPI releases

Disclaimer: I'm the developer of TorchGeo. Try any of the above libraries and stick with whichever works for you 😃

P.S. If anyone is aware of any other PyTorch + satellite imagery libraries, please share them here as well!
