I work in the field of open-source software and information security. Basically making and breaking software at the same time!
What am I working on?
I am currently working on binserve, a fast static web server written in Rust and moonwalk, a red teaming tool for security researchers right here on GitHub. I also secure open-source projects with huntr and have patched and triaged several open-source security issues.
The end goal!
My plan is to go full-time on open-source simply because it feels pretty wholesome and the impact it has on the software world is immense + the open information as an educational resource is good for the world. To achieve this, I have been experimenting with the freemium business model and of course support from the community via platforms like BuyMeACoffee and now GitHub Sponsors! ❤️
