You mean the list should scroll to the top? That already happens but ONLY if you are already scrolled to the absolute top of the list.

Because syncing can happen at anytime in the background, if the app were to scroll you to the top on sync, then it would break a user's flow if they were already scrolling down and reading items. (I've tested it, and it's super annoying)
