When using nix, the make target autocompletion breaks.
(According to @potsrevennil, this isn't the case when using direnv, but I am not -- and we should not require it).
There is some useful information here: NixOS/nix#6091

I do not want to give up the autocompletion tbh - it is a very useful feature.
