I'm trying to flash a new version of u-boot onto the lm4a modules so I would like answers for the following questions:

  • Which USB A-A cable is needed (USB 2/USB 3)?
  • Could the modules flash themselves without a USB cable?

  1. usb 2.0 A-A cable is enough
  2. no
but you can use usb flash your uboot, then use ec control uboot enter fastboot udp mode, then use network flash it.
  3. you can simple use dd flash your uboot, when you can enter linux system
