Hello,
I have trouble understanding what this extension can do. I installed it, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Sure I can click Create random alias, but all I will get is ERROR: Wrong API key.

Where should I set the API key? How can I connect the extension to my Proton / SimpleLogin account? Though I can open SimpleLogin extension configuration, I can only see the standard options (allow in Private Browsing, Allow automatic updates etc.).

Restarting Firefox doesn't seem to do anything.

NOTE: I know how to use SimpleLogin.io itself

Browser: Firefox 111.0 ; Private Browsing always on
OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS.

Hello, thanks for responding, and sorry for taking so long to answer.

I have now created an API key, and the extension works when I'm logged in. For me, however, it is somewhat inconvenient, because I always browse in private mode.

I suppose there's no way to set it permanently? No option in about:config or anything like that?

@wlinna I don't know of any way to make SL work in private mode unfortunately.
