Unique ships are ships that are available only during specific rounds, whether through a roundtype/gamemode or just simply placed into a normal round. They can be anything from giant faction carriers/flagships to small one-man fighters. Designations or ship classes don't really matter. I will begin:
SolGov
SolGov Flagship
A gigantic behemoth of a ship with lots of combat equipment, meant explicitly for the Conflict Zone roundtype. The commanding body of the SolGov fleet, all of the orders are given to this ship's captain to be relayed to everyone else in the fleet. If/when ship to ship combat is added, this one is the heavy hitter. Also, if the whole fleet massacres random people, the captain of this one should be the one punished.
SolGov Cruiser
A medium-sized ship with decent weaponry. Meant to defend the flagship; can also appear in the Faction-Controlled Sector roundtype.
SolGov Carrier
Another gigantic behemoth of a ship, this one carries all of the smaller ships in the fleet to be refueled and resupplied, etc. Carries most of the roles for SolGov's side of the round. I don't know if carriers are currently possible, however guh!
SolGov Scout ship
Small, baby ship meant to go ahead of the main SolGov fleet to find the enemy one, unique in that it completely lacks the equipment that most normal ships have for the normal gameplay loop. Spawns in the carrier.
SolGov Boarder
A boarding craft, same reason as the scout ship. Spawns in the carrier.
All of the Nanotrasen ships would be similar to the SolGov ships, and their fleets would likely be mixed together. There isn't much reason to list theirs.
Syndicate
Syndicate Flagship
A gigantic behemoth of a ship with lots o combat equipment, meant explicitly for the Conflict Zone roundtype. The commanding body of the Syndicate fleet, etc etc. All of the Syndicate's companies and factions are represented in this ship. It would be cool, and big guns.
Syndicate Cruiser
See the SolGov one. Same purpose and general equipment level, may appear in the Faction-Controlled Sector as well.
*Syndicate Carrier
See the SolGov Carrier. A success by the GEC eccentrics, completely unique and brand new ship that NT/SolGov have never seen before.
Syndicate Scout ship
See the SolGov one.
Syndicate Automated Boarder
A boarding ship, manned explicitly by IPCs. Slightly bigger to accommodate more of them, but doesn't have an air tank in it for organics.
Syndicate Donk Co! Boarder
A syndicate "pizza delivery" ship. :)
Pirate
Pirate Flagship
A pirate flagship, big, meant for the Conflict Zone roundtype. Lacks the uniform equipment of either of the other flagships and is smaller/weaker, but has bigger guns.
Pirate Cruiser
A pirate cruiser!! Meant to defend the flagship. May appear in the Faction-Controlled Sector roundtype as well.
Pirate Carrier
Significantly smaller than the other carriers and carries much smaller ships. Generally weaker and less useful, as well as less of a target for the enemy. Perhaps, there could be two of these depending on pop.
Pirate Bomber
Instead of a scout ship, the pirates get a bomber. Small, fast, and has a big gun on it for its size. Doesn't include the things necessary for the main gameplay loop.
Pirate Boarder
Like the other ones.
Other
These ships would appear in any roundtype unless otherwise stated.
Escape Pod
Like stranded hermit, except you are in the pod before it lands. Also completely alone.
Exploration Pod
A small, deep-space exploration vessel, manned by one person. Contains some pretty nice gear, but you are alone.
Colony
A small colony, located on a planet. Given everything they need to survive and somewhat expand with no way or want out. Maybe 6 to 8 roles available.
Pirate Raider
A generic pirate ship. Antag ship that doesn't appear every round, because if they did it would suck.
Syndicate Raider
Syndicate antag ship, specifically prods NT over SolGov, doesn't appear every round, etc.
Faction-specific outpost/stations
For the Faction-Controlled Sector roundtype, each faction should have their own version of the trading outpost/station.
Entertainment Hub
A unique outpost/station that has various different entertainment services while having little resources of actual practical use to buy. Constantly spams your communications console with ads, every few minutes.
Marauder Training Ship
A unique ship, set up to train rookie Gorlex Marauder operatives. Kind of a useless roleplay ship, but that's fine :)
Automated Scout Vessel
ftl ai ship
thats all i can think right now
