Color functions (log and parabolic) should become palettes in Colormap

Currently, they're applied for each pixel in the image during translation; it makes much more sense (and likely way faster) to make them alter the Colormap object instead.

This will also allow us to clamp values properly as the dip factor is changed to the extremes.
