I cloned this repository today and was promptly warned by my operating system that two of the APKs contained malware. Button1.apk reportedly contained a Win32 trojan and ArrayAccess1.apk reportedly contained Android ransomware.

Neither program's source code seems even moderately malicious (in this regard). Rebuilding the APKs using Android Studio with build tools 19 produces APKs that do not appear to be malicious.

It could be a false positive, but it is also possible that the APKs bundled in this repository have been tampered with.

In any event, thank you for this benchmark suite!

This is strange. Which anti-virus solution do you use?
