[Question] Python implementation vs Rust? #201

I assume there is a version in Python and a newer one in Rust. Since I couldn't read anything about this, I wonder why the project was rewritten in Rust? Is the Python version less stable or missing important features? Thank you!

I re-wrote the project in rust to get the benefit of faster processing, as well as the benefit of learning something new. At this point, there is very little functional difference between the python and rust versions - intentionally - but that will change as time goes on.
