Calling handler from within an existing request handler?

Is it possible to call another handler from the existing request handler? I'm making a REST api and I'd like to make a batch endpoint that calls other existing handlers. I'd imagine this could work if I could get a hold of the rocket instance within my batch endpoint handler.
