A typical mixed language application using gmaven does not generate groovydoc

I organize my application according to standard gmaven structure like:

src>
  main>
    groovy> - groovy source code
    java> - java source code
    resources>
src>
  test>
    groovy> - groovy test code
    java> - java test code
    resources>

When running:

mvn clean compile com.bluetrainsoftware.maven:groovydoc-maven-plugin:2.1:generate

It does not generate groovydoc for the docs under the groovy folders. Only the java folders.
