Terribly slow Chrome/Retina MacBook Pro #6

This is really, really slow on OS X/Chrome/15" 2.6 16GB Retina MacBook Pro.

12 GB RAM free, no other apps open

Could you try www.petrasarova.cz , please? Is this same in Safari? Thank you!

@MikeshCZ the site is indeed slow in Chrome, however Safari runs well.

Testing http://richardshepherd.com/smashing/parallax/background.html in Safari works OK until you scroll down to the "HTML5 Video" section at which point you get display artifacts(video box appearing in strange locations on the page) and slowdown.

Same problem here. It works fine in Firefox and Safari, but in Chrome, Opera or IE is really slow. Why is this?
