Render call api

Hello, I recently found this wiki project to be an awesome tool but lacking some features for my needs.
The issue I encountered is that I have not yet found any api coverage on 2.* version.
Because I had to automatically create documentation for my backend methods, I decided to 'hack' into Wiki.Js database and modify pages.content columns by whatever the server generates.

Because I only modify markdown content and Wiki.Js thinks that the content is up to date, I need to manually open pages in edit mode and save them for Wiki.Js to render them.

So my question: is there a way to improve my current time-consuming solution by something I missed out on, or is there some way to tell wiki.js which pages to render through API?
