Scoop is a package manager that allows for easy application management in user-space (https://scoop.sh). Please provide a manifest for easyWSL in https://github.com/ScoopInstaller/Extras so it can be automatically downloaded outside and independently of Windows Store.

While this sounds cool, I've dived a bit into the scoop itself recently.
Seems like either scoop doesn't really like .msix packages or I'm just doing something wrong.

Seems like it would want a pure .exe file, as a source for the package, tho correct me if I'm in wrong.
As for right now, we use API which is available only for .msix (the one for Storage.AppData). However, this sounds as a good alternative to pre-built .msix and Microsoft Store. I like the idea. And we can even think about adding .exe to choco, once we make it.

Will keep you updated.
