I am trying to extract data from Mysql database using RMysql packages in R. The data gets imported into r with the changed encoding format where in "Córdoba" in UTF-8 gets changed to "Córdoba".
I have tried to set names as utf8 as per the suggestion but with no luck.
Here is the command for it:

dbGetQuery(mydb,"set names utf8")
