You can use im.getpixel() to get the colour of a specific pixel.

Regarding figuring out what specific pixel you are interested in, it should be fairly straightforward to use logic and im.getpixel() to loop over an image's pixels and determine that.

However, considering your past questions, I suspect you might not simply be interested in a solid rectangle, but a rectangle from a photo, meaning that it has varying colours, pixellation, rotation and imperfections. In which case, see #7370 (comment)

I am trying to find color from shapes on ppt exported image .

Some colors are correct from im.getpixel(). Some colors became white.
MS PPT has a color drop function, which can easily pick background color, I need a similar function with python code.

Without having immediate access to PowerPoint, I suspect that it doesn't have a function that detects rectangles in images. I expect it detects colors when you click on a pixel, aka when you give it co-ordinates. This is exactly what im.getpixel() does.

Maybe need to create a text mask to use inpaint to remove text first? Or erode/dilate to get background color

I'm not familiar with Microsoft Paint, and I think that when you say 'erode' and 'dilate' you might be referring to OpenCV. I don't have sufficient knowledge to advise you on what these other pieces of software can do.

Actually, I am interested in getting both font stroke color and background color to generate ppt file.

As has been said before, Pillow doesn't have any functionality for text detection.

If you are interested in getting the colour inside the rest of rectangle that isn't the same colour as the rectangle, that should be achievable with im.getpixel() and logic.
