This project is a gateway, where you can push collectd's data to and then it get's scraped by prometheus.

Write_Prometheus exposes collectd's data on an http-port where prometheus then pulls it

If you use Write_Prometheus together with the network plugin of collectd, then you can build the same service as this project provides
