This does also pose a growing problem with some linked external resources aside from the aforementioned links. I think we should probably make a criteria that all links should use archived versions and backlink the original like how Wikipedia does it.

the solution for this particular case is to compile a new set of hitsounds and preferably with more variety/options for sounds, thus rewriting the entire article

for now it could also be marked as outdated (or deleted - does anyone even use it?)

Tentatively we can mark it outdated for now until a replacement or a fix can be made.

im not sure if this issue is really worth tracking when the entire article is clearly dated or irrelevant now. if anything like this is to be on the wiki, it should probably just link out to others' forums posts or websites or wherever people host this kind of stuff now. I think it shoudl be marked needs_cleanup + outdated until anyone wants to do that
