I haven't found yet a consistent way to find out which keys require a shift modifier. The char table for instance, is not much help on the US layout. This is necessary for finding keys that are effectively double modified.

Some people don't want any capital letters in final events because it requires switching modifiers in order to complete the sequence, making it extra stupid. upcase was not a reliable method.

A robust method of processing keyboard layouts in order to quickly create modifiers is needed. Help wanted.
