So, I have a small project in Rust that I made using Geany. Before switching to the Pop!_OS alpha, I still had the GNOME terminal, so I guess that's why it wasn't a problem. But now, when I use cargo build or cargo run, it does compile just fine, but the terminal opens and closes again in the blink of an eye. What the actual cheese stick is going on?
This is a huge deal for me and kind of unacceptable, whether it's the Cosmic terminal causing this or something else.

Ok so the problem may be deeper than I tought,
I did try to install the gnome terminal but it did not work.
I now use Alpha but before that I had both Pop and cosmic session and I think I had the same problem in the cosmic session, only work in the Pop session and even then, only on the gnome terminal.
Yes I did change the settings in geany and even change the default terminal on the system.
Does not matter if it's a terminal app or GUI app
Seem to be related to cosmic, wayland or something.
I can compile just fine but to run I have to use the terminal (Cosmic) and use Cargo Run directly.
