I have installed cosmic desktop on fedora 40 as per the instructions using DNF, and I went to go switch to it, but it won't let me log in. It accepts my fingerprint/password, but then boots me back to the login screen. I am pretty sure I am using greetd, since that's the same login screen that shows up when I do sudo greetd. This is, however, a separate issue to #35 , since to resolve a different problem, I already have SELinux disabled. I'm new to this project, so I am not sure where to look or how to troubleshoot, exactly.

Can you try to log into cosmic, then log into any other DE that is working and post the output of journalctl --user -b0 _COMM=cosmic-comp please?

oddly enough, no entries.

just to cover my bases, I restarted and tried to log in twice. Same result. If it's important, the DE I logged into that works was KDE.
