abnormal chromatin binding (FYPO:0002576)
normal chromatin binding (FYPO:0003086)

currently allows

assayed protein
assayed region

Assayed region accepts a SO term, but usually, we don't know the SO term, but we may know the locus/gene

So can we also have gene_promoter as an option and allow the addition of a gene ID in this field?
Example to curate in PMID:31748520 comment field, but this would be fairly common

Hi Val. Is that the correct term? "assayed protein" isn't configured for it.

So can we also have gene_promoter as an option and allow the addition of a gene ID in this field?

I'm a bit confused. By "gene_promoter as an option" do you add an extra field to assayed protein / assayed region extensions or do you mean add a new extension type?

Lets discuss, not urgent and easier in person

Also I might need to tweak the request.
