Modern Script Editor web part by mikaelsvenson

Hello,
I uploaded a version of the webpart "Modern Script Editor web part by mikaelsvenson" that I found here because I needed to add custom buttons in my SharePoint site. However, I realize that this is probably an older version of the application where the manifest.json does not include " "supportsThemeVariants": true" and there for, the background of the webpart does not align with the section background.
I am not sure how to update the manifest of the existing application, I would like to use the existing .sppkg file and just update the manifest to the newer version.
