Some internal links got broken as a result of the Plone 6 / Volto migration. I don't know how common this is, here are some examples:

Problem reviewed at Axolote Sprint (April 2024). @davisagli expressed interest in troubleshooting during upcoming Beethoven Sprint.

@fredvd It would be ideal if the old (pre-Volto migration) plone.org could be online during the Beethoven Sprint while people are working on this and other plone.org problems. @rioksane has suggested Marketing Team budget could be used to pay for the hosting expense.

@fredvd @rioksane How hard would it be for me to get old plone.org running locally? I'd be willing to work on this but I probably need to be able to refer to the old data.

@davisagli I discussed the same with Erico at the sprint. It's an unmaintained plone ansible deployment, that Paul didn't dare to run anymore 2 years ago.

The server is turned off, as we discussed recently in the marketing team it can be turned on, but I should hack in at least a basic auth on the server when we turn it on again for a while.

As nobody volunteered and/or had other priorities this week at the Beethoven print I didn't turn on the server in the admin panel . I created tar.gz files and downloaded them locally to my own machine at home from the instance and data.fs/blobstorage folders.
