Hello,

I am very new to this approach but it is exactly what I need for my project.

Can you please let me know what kernel these can be applied to, and also if there can now be a graphical image as I seem to have read somewhere that it would only show a blank screen?

Best Regards
Lonnie

The latest kernel we have ported the patches to is 5.8-rc5. We mostly use it on our ARM devices like the #pinephone. There is even a graphical tool by now to create the splash screens. I'll update this project here, so people will know which kernels are supported.

Thanks for the quick response.

I would like to be able to use it on Debian based x86_64 AMD system that has a kernel (4.9.0-11-amd64) or something in the 4.X range perhaps.

Do you, perhaps have the older patches for this range since it seems that you have ported the patches to newer kernels already?

Maybe a newer kernel later, but if it can be made to work with this then it really solves a big problem that I have been having.
Best Regards
