Do we know what terminal support for emojis looks like across platforms? I know iterm2 renders them...

I researched this subject a little when working on lsp.
Only MacOS X and iOS has the characters for the unicode's code points: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji#Apple_encoding , no support for windows or linux terminals.
