  • Two versions are now available:
    • usual one. The most up-to-date one for most of QNAP NAS. (with latest ffmpeg6)
    • ffmpeg5 based. This release is mostly for NVidia transcoding as the FFMPEG6 requires a latest NVidia driver which is not (yet?) available on QNAP.
  • ARM based (still not working yet here)

  • Please rename the .qpkg below to "10.9.1.qpkg" before installation (not containing jellyfin keyword). Otherwise, the installation will be stopped before being complete.
  • If you had pressed manually the "Stop button" in Jellyfin QNAP App Center or updated it to a non-renamed .qpkg, please restart first your NAS before upgrading.

Known issue in this prerelease
If you try to Stop (or update) jellyfin using the Qnap App Center. Afterwards you will no be able to start or update another app and will need to restart your NAS.

If you have installed this release, before installing newer qpkg, please make sure you rename the .qpkg to "10.9.1.qpkg" (not containing jellyfin keyword) otherwise, the installation will be stopped.

Alternatively, you can do some manual steps programmatically using ssh to be able to update properly to newer release ;

ssh -l xxx <nasip>
cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/jellyfin (or CACHEDEV<xx>_DATA depending on where the application has been installed)
mv jellyfin.sh jellyfin.sh.bak
then install newer release. (you shall not have triggered Jellyfin Stop action before installing the new release, in that case restart before installing)
