Allow users to submit images for patterns / places #2
Comments
Why not have each place or pattern as a unique post? Then everybody would have text editing, photo uploading, spell correction and more? Just hold posts from new writers for moderation before publishing to the entire world. |
Are you suggesting that everyone can edit every pattern? On Wed, May 16, 2012 at 3:21 AM, Theo Armour <

In WP, The ability to edit others' posts depends on role levels. Admins can edit/delete all/anything. Contributors can only edit their own. Various nuances for the in-between roles. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities Do let me know if you need/want anything outside these definitions. |
Oops. I see you already found this out. Can we close this issue? |
I don't think this is resolved yet. It's probably a matter or spec. I'm arguing that people who aren't "editors" and thus can't edit an existing pattern should still be allowed to submit new images for the pattern. That's a feature that needs treatment, if we want it in there... I see it as one of the main ways to engage community. |
