Hello. Thank you for very useful tool. I used jvmtop.sh. It opened random port which can't be hidden by firewall. Few questions:

  1. Is it safe to use? Can this port be accessed from outside?
  2. Is it possible to specify which port to open?
  3. Can you explain which technologies are used by jvmtop.sh?

Re. q#3 which technologies are used by jvmtop.sh

  • Your shell for it's own execution
  • the GNU utility readlink
  • Java application launcher

Surely should be apparent from the script itself?
